In June of 2023 Barstool HQ handed over the reigns of the failing Barstool Northeastern social accounts to our founder Mac O'Hara and a small team of two other content creators. Immediately following the transfer, Mac and the team were able to completely revitalize the pages with new content, a unique brand identity, and a strong on-campus presence.
Mac and the team took the page in stride and accumulated over eight thousand new followers over the span of four months.
Mac focused on graphic design, restarting the Twitter account, and covering on-campus and Boston related events. The page has become the first point of news for thousands of Northeastern students, as well as a now respected source of information both about Northeastern and the surrounding community.
